Day 1: The Living Library
Bible Verse
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. - Genesis 1:1
Reflection Question
What section of this divine library most interests you, and why? Is it the historical accounts, the poetry, the letters, or the prophecies?
Quote
Most of us, we kind of lose this. How many of you know this isn't a book at all? Anybody know that? It's not a book. It's actually a library. It's a collection of books.
Prayer
Dear God, thank you for giving us Your Word in ways we can understand. Help us approach Your library of truth with curiosity and openness. Give us wisdom as we begin this journey of discovering more about You through Your Word. Amen.
Day 2: The Living Word
Bible Verse
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16
Reflection Question
How might your relationship with the Bible change if you approached it primarily as a way to know Jesus better rather than just a book of rules or history?
Quote
The truth is, the true Word of God is a person.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You for being the living Word. Help us to see You more clearly through the pages of Scripture. Draw us closer to You as we read and study Your Word. Amen.
Day 3: Your Story in His Story
Bible Verse
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8
Reflection Question
What story from the Bible most closely reflects your own journey with God, and how has it impacted your faith?
Quote
Every story has the ability to change your story.
Prayer
Father, thank You for including us in Your great story of redemption. Help us see how our lives fit into Your bigger picture and give us courage to share our story with others. Amen.
Day 4: Embracing Doubt, Finding Faith
Bible Verse
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9
Reflection Question
What questions about your faith have you been afraid to ask, and how might bringing them honestly before God strengthen rather than weaken your relationship with Him?
Quote
Doubt is okay. Do not it's okay to doubt. I don't want you to think that doubt is not okay.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for being big enough to handle our doubts and questions. Help us trust You even in our uncertainty, and lead us to deeper faith through our honest seeking. Amen.
Day 5: Sharing His Story
Bible Verse
And they sang a new song, saying: 'You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.' - Revelation 5:9
Reflection Question
What part of your faith journey could you share this week that might help someone else see Jesus more clearly?
Quote
The Bible story is personal. And it's not private, by the way. It's personal, but not private.
Prayer
Holy Spirit, give us courage to share Your story and our story with others. Help us be faithful witnesses of Your love and truth in our daily lives. Amen.
