The Edge Kids
The Edge Kids exists to teach kids the way of Jesus. We believe that God has revealed himself through history and is working within history to fulfill his purposes for all creation. The Bible tells the story of God’s work in the world. Each week, we gather to explore this story and invite our kids to enter into it: following the way of Jesus and joining the work that God is doing in the world.
Our programs for newborns through fifth grade meet on Sundays at 10:00 AM Gathering time.
In Babies, our goal is simple—that your child will begin to learn and understand that God loves them. How do we do that? Through the care of committed volunteers, as well as activity and story times that reinforce the Bible story of the month. These early encounters let each child know they are valued and begin to build a foundation for a relationship with God.
Preschool provides purposeful connections where kids discover that they belong to God, Jesus loves them, and he has a job for them to do. Each week in Preschool, caring volunteers lead our 2-year-olds through young 5’s in worship, a Bible story, and a key concept that ties the morning together.
Each Sunday in Elementary our children connect with a caring volunteer and other kids their age to sing and worship God, hear a creative Bible story, and discuss that story in their small group. In these teaching environments, kids learn that their identity is in Christ, they have belonging in the church, and a role to play in God’s mission.
